Learning to Drive....bumper cars.

Once Annie and Jack figured out how to drive it was very entertaining.

Annie and Jack braved more rides then their aunt and mom...stomach gets weak when you get older!!

Drew was excited to spend the day on rides.

The afternoon of Christmas Day was spent at the West Edmonton Mall...the best day ever...not very many people!!

The Special Guest this year in Palm Springs

Another opps....

Opps....Pressed some key and the pictures were posted without comments. We had a chilly 6:30 am golf game but 18 holes later we were warm and ready to lay in the sun and it was still early.

Thanks to nervous "Paul" at the rental counter, we got an upgrade to a 2010 Mustang convertible for $5.00 a day. This car was referred to as my mid life crisis...hahaha...I am not that old!!! and I would get a different car. But while you are in California you need to feel the sun at all time.

Keanan Pearman - son of Rob and Trac who came to Palm Spring with us this year. We had a blast with everyone especially Keanan....great kid!!! He even liked to sun tan like the rest of us.

I forgot to finish the email. I completed the 1/2 marathon in 2.14 hrs...so now I have a time to beat for next year!!!

Running Update....

Sorry about the lack of updates on the blog. So the weekend after the 10 klm run I did a 1/2 marathon run in Calgary. I had set a goal of 2.5 hours to complete the run. My running friend - Sarah Pihrag decided not to run so it was just me and 699 other runners. It was a cold morning ( very tempting to stay in bed). The run started at 7:45 am and when I crossed the finish line it started to snow. Sure felt good to get that one checked off the list. The run was followed by an hour massage and then home to relax for the rest of the weekend. My plan is to train for another run in the spring...anyone interested in running 21 klms with me???
